Practical Small-Business Support — £200 Monthly Support Package

Running a small business often means having more jobs than hours in the day. You may know something needs doing but not have the time, confidence or specialist experience to move it forward. Sometimes you want advice. Sometimes you want to learn. Sometimes you need someone to work alongside you — and sometimes you simply want the task done.
That is what this monthly support package is designed for. It is practical, flexible business support rather than a generic mentoring programme.
£200 per month — up to 8 hours of practical support
The package gives you up to eight hours of my time each month for £200, payable in advance. That is an effective rate of £25 per hour. The time can be used for work agreed in advance or flexibly when issues and questions arise during the month.
If you need more than the included eight hours in a month, additional hours can be purchased individually as required.

What can the time be used for?
The support can be used for one larger piece of work or a combination of smaller tasks. Typical examples include improving business documents and written communications, researching options, preparing presentations or proposals, organising information, reviewing website or marketing content, developing simple systems and processes, using AI and digital tools more effectively, or working through a practical business problem that has been sitting on the to-do list.
The exact work is agreed with you. The aim is not to create work for the sake of it, but to focus the available time on the things that will genuinely help you move forward.

Advice, development or hands-on implementation
Different situations need different kinds of help. If you are unsure what to do next, I can help you clarify the issue and decide on a sensible way forward. If you want to understand how to do something yourself, we can work through it together. If you need another pair of hands, I can work alongside you. And where the task is suitable, I can simply take it away and do the work for you.
That combination of clarity, direction, development and practical support is the core of the service.
Who is it for?
This package is aimed at small-business owners, sole traders and independent professionals who need reliable practical support without employing an additional member of staff or commissioning a separate consultant for every small task.
It is particularly useful when several different jobs need attention across the month, or when progress keeps being delayed because day-to-day work always comes first.
What the package is not
This is not unlimited on-call support, and it is not a substitute for specialist legal, accountancy, tax or other regulated professional advice. Where a task needs specialist expertise outside my role, I will say so rather than pretend otherwise.
How the monthly support works
When you take out the package, you receive a free one-hour initial call. The £200 monthly fee is payable in advance. During that call we can discuss your situation, the kind of support you need and how you see me fitting into the business.
After that, we can work things out as we go. You can decide at the start of the month if you want me to handle a set of pre-arranged tasks, or simply contact me when a problem or question comes up and ask whether I can assist. The eight hours are there to be used flexibly across the month and in some cases carried over.
You can set up a regular payment plan if you prefer, or simply pay £200 at the start of each monthly period on a pay-as-you-go basis.
